The piece that started it all. This is the very first original composition that I ever wrote. That being said, the piece is obviously very characteristic of my early style. The piece is very spontaneous in form, and constantly morphing into new ideas and developments. The piece, though being so early in my career, is quite difficult. The transitional triplet phrase is very difficult to line up rhythmically, and the top tenor part has an extremely demanding range reaching up to an optional high G ( the G just above the treble clef staff). Besides a few other tricky rhythmic areas the piece is quite simple, with more of a focus on harmony rather than melody.
