This is my first piece ever for any woodwind instrument or woodwind choir. It was written for a local clarinet choir in my hometown of Huntsville, Alabama. The piece is written with younger musicians in mind, so the difficulty level is not too high. The title comes with a variety of meanings behind it. This was a sort of personal discovery for me having to write for instruments I am not familiar with along with an ensemble I am not familiar with, and since this is geared towards younger musicians, the title also refers to younger musicians discovering new sounds and timbres as I tried to create some harmonic moments and passages that younger musicians may not have heard before. This was a fun experience and I hope other musicians will find it a fun experience to play as well.
